This is the “Greek discus" sport which was included in some of the first Olympic games, before at the end, be replaced by the discus as we know it today.
The athlete stands on a square board. The height of the board is lower at the front area. His right leg is in front of the left. He must throw the discus from a stand position. He is allowed to get out of the board but he must land to his right leg. This is as close as it can be to the ancient style, though the board wasn't used back then.
